Services Provided

I am a licensed Psychologist with over 20 years of experience. I provide individual therapy to adults of all ages, addressing a wide range of concerns. Depending on your needs, I provide both short and long-term treatments.

My office is located in Chevy Chase, MD, one block north of the Friendship Heights Metro Station (Red Line).

I specialize in the following clinical areas:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • LGBTQ Issues
  • Life Transitions
  • Relationship Problems
  • Sexual Issues (including Sexual Addictions)
  • Stress Management
  • Trauma Resolution

In addition to psychotherapy, I also provide supervision, training, and mentoring to psychology students and newly licensed psychologists.

I provide free (pro bono) services to those in need in our community through Give An Hour (GAH), an organization that provides free therapy to military personnel and their families, through the Maryland Pro Bono Counseling Project , and through the Therapy Aid Coalition , which provides free mental health services to frontline and essential workers during the Coronavirus pandemic.

I have an “integrative” approach to therapy. Instead of strictly adhering to one technique or another, I individualize our work together and draw on what I think will best help you. I make use of my training across theoretical models, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT,) psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness-based practices, to find the approach that serves you best. Please take a look at my " About Me " page for more information about my background and my approach to therapy.

I offer a warm and compassionate setting for therapy, and I provide support and practical feedback to help you address life challenges. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to your needs. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to help build on your strengths and develop new emotional and behavioral skills.
